Join the ICA Teen Arts Council for a Teen Night presented in conjunction with the ICA's fourth annual National Convening for Teens in the Arts. Organized and promoted by teens for teens, the evening explores the world of technology and will feature teen-led exhibition tours, hands-on artmaking activities, and presentations and performances by guest artists and DJs in the coolest theater in Boston.

The Institute of Contemporary Art, 100 Northern Avenue, Boston MA

Come for the first Teen Night of the school year! Produced four times a year by the Teen Arts Council, Teen Night is an event that brings high school teens to the ICA from in and around Boston. Participate in tours of the galleries, activities in the art lab, and see performances by other teens.

Localeyes Teen Night is based on one of the ICA’s current exhibits, the James and Audrey Foster Prize 2010. This exhibit features nine local artists who are competing for a $25,000 prize. Members of the Teen Arts Council will lead you on tours of the Foster Prize and selections from the ICA’s permanent collection. Participate in art activities in the Lobby and the Bank of America Art Lab: build a Cardboard City and play Beantown Twister, based on the MBTA subway map. Performances by local dance troupes, rappers, and singers begin at 7pm in the theater.

This event is FREE and open to everyone! Come show your support for local teens and the arts!
