Teen Artist Encounter: Swoon

In her practice as an artist, Swoon is deeply engaged with social issues and humanitarian projects. Her current installation at the ICA looks at the effects of industrialized society on people and the environment. In this one day workshop for teens, Swoon will work with participants to explore creative expression and engagement around the issues that matter to them most. Advance registration for this workshop is required, space is limited.

1 Session, Saturday, March 24, 2012, 10 am - 3 pm
Fee: $ 60 nonmembers; $48 members
Full scholarships available for Boston Public School students. See below.

Open to high school students in 9th - 12th grade.
No prior experience necessary. All equipment provided.
Enrollment limited to 15 students

Boston Public School Student Scholarships
A limited number of full scholarships are available for Boston Public School students for all ICA Teen New Media workshops. To apply for one of the scholarships, fill out the workshop application and be sure to check YES for the question "Are you a Boston Public School Student?". To receive the scholarship you will need to make an appointment to meet with the Teen New Media Program manager prior to the beginning of the workshop.
