Resources for Educators

The Institute of Contemporary Art is dedicated to investing in teen programs in order to create engaged and informed future leaders and arts audiences. The museum believes that contemporary art possesses a unique power to connect with teens, and that arts education provides teens with the tools they need to take action and think creatively.

The Teen Educators Listserv will host discussions about our industry topics, network together with industry professionals, and keep up to date on what's happening in our field. To engage in the listserv, one needs only to subscribe and participate.

ICA hosts RYMAEC, a regional effort with the mission to create a community of Boston area individuals, organizations, and community-based groups committed to supporting and strengthening the youth media arts field through exchanging information, resources, and youth-produced media.

Programs for educators are made possible in part by a grant
from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services.
