Welcome to Live Video Projection 101!

Hey everyone! Here's where I'll be posting entries for our current class Live Video Projection 101. You'll see prior entries from our DJ class from the spring on here before this one. Feel free to check those links out as well but note this is where the entries for our fall video class begin.

Thanks for a very productive first two weeks of our class. Hope everyone is getting some good footage at home with their cameras this week. Remember that video projection let's you move your images outside of the box or standard shape of a tv or video screen. Try and think of ways framing your content that might be out of the ordinary and allow for reshaping and manipulating later. Also think about Kryzstof's use of architecture and his theme of memorials and what that might mean to you in your every day life. See the video above from the Art 21 episode we watched to re-familiarize yourself with Krzysztof's work. We'll be getting a sneak preview of the show Wednesday!

For those following along on computers at home here are links to the free software we're using. Definitely poke around these websites there are plenty of tutorials and video's that can show you some of the advanced functions we'll be looking at in coming weeks.

See you guys on Wednesday. Be sure to bring your cameras with memory cards in them and be ready to ask questions about the show!
