Video Game Design - Spring 2012
Art design, story-telling, animation, creative computing, and simple physics are all part of the video game design process. In this workshop you will dig into each of these components while developing your own video game using Game Maker software. At the end you will have a 2-D game playable on a mac or a PC, and the start of your own graphic effects and video game behaviors libraries.

No prior experience necessary. All equipment provided.

Boston Public School Student Scholarships
A limited number of full scholarships are available for Boston Public School students for all ICA Teen New Media workshops. To apply for one of the scholarships, fill out the workshop application and be sure to check YES for the question "Are you a Boston Public School Student?". To receive the scholarship you will need to make an appointment to meet with the Teen New Media Program manager prior to the beginning of the workshop.
