sway v3/v4

alright everyone i'm back....apparently after thinking about what i made out of sway v2 i decided i wasn't very excited about it anymore. this is simply because i felt as though i lost sight of what i was really trying to do from the beginning. which was to showcase the artistry that can be made of the song,(ex:the musicianship behind it and the choreography). so sway v2 is still an option but i decided to go back and try the process over again, and not lose sight of that anymore. on this post there will be my 2 latest ideas for sway....one is more developed than the other. so let me know what you think!

SWAY V.3

solo vocalist writes and sings songs about love and dance. she's never allowed herself to fall in love or learn to dance. the video shows her process of writing sway and her performing it while watching the dancers;envious of what the two partners have together.

SWAY V.4

there is a boy who has an interest in his friend who is a dancer. everyday after school he watches her practice her routine not knowing she wishes she had a partner. the video ends with them performing the dance together.

example:

group of boys="come on man lets go to the studio, i got some hot ideas for us to put down."
derrick="nah man i got a lot of work to do. maybe tomorrow."
group of boys="what ever man, you're corny."
group of boys leave, derrick runs back inside just in time to catch her going into the studio. he backs against the wall so she doesn't see. she presses play and the starts. she bobs her head to the music walking back to her position. derrick peaks around the corner as she begins to dance. he watches her for
a few moments. then he leaves,when he gets home (or on his way home) he does his own choreography to sway. the girl is on her way to the studio again to practice, she's on the phone talking to a friend about how she needs a dance partner in order for things to work out the way she wants to. he watches her again that afternoon.... when he gets there she is already dancing, he sits to watch where he can be seen,she sees him and smiles. there is a part in her routine where there is some kind of open invitation for whom ever to come and dance with her. derrick jumps up at the opportunity and dances with her. this scene will cut to them dancing together in different places until finally at the final location which will be set up in a performance type of way.
