Raul Gonzalez: Artist Encounter for Teens
Teens tour the city of Boston with Raul Gonzalez, and create a site-specific mural installation at the ICA. After peer-led tours of historical Boston with a focus on the South End and Chinatown, teens trace personal narratives through graphic story telling. Gonzalez brings a long practice of teaching teens in a museum context, and will be a featured speaker at the second annual Teen Convening in the Arts in August. A collaborative installation from the residency will be on view on PlayDate on July 31, with public reception opening on Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 3-5pm.
Free for BPS students, advance registration is required.
