Project Ideas
I believe I told you and Erin about the budget cuts my school and public schools statewide are going through. As much as I hate it all, it HAS given me a great opportunity to make a really good movie. It couldn't have come much later, either, cause I was full out of ideas.
Anyways, this is a subject I feel strongly about, and I really want to do something about it. I want to make a documentary about it. I have a few ideas that I'd like to develop a bit more before writing down on here, but they'll be up soon. I also have a good chance of being able to get a lot of good interviews and footage, because my father is the head of my school's parent council and can get me some leeway. I'll post more about this when I have more to tell, I guess.

Great, great idea -- I'm glad this is something you're thinking about. One of your first to-dos should be making sure you have the blessing of the school -- who would you want to film/interview as part of your story? The principal? Parents? Your friends? Teachers? Make sure you have buy-in from those folks. That's great that your dad is a good connection for you -- what does he think about this?
I'd love to see a short paragraph summing up what your focus is. You'll want to be able to succinctly and clearly tell folks what your film is about. Let's talk!
