What an awesome schedule! So smart to schedule back up time too! I hope it went as smoothly as it looks!
I hope that today I can see some of your footage. If all went according to plan your schedule tells me I might be able to!
Woohoo! Now that you are editing things are really going to get exciting. I remember you saying that this was your favorite part so I hope that you really let yourself cut loose with this. I think that its important though to give yourself one statement that you tape up somewhere very visible to keep yourself focused on the message of the doc. Something very simple so whenever you are in a position of decision making you can look at it and always decide based on what would illustrate the statement the best. Because the subject of your documentary is a counter culture involving alternative ideas people and lifestyles I hope that you use that mind set in your editing. Make something that reflects what you are talking about! These ideas can be translated into any medium which is so exciting and awesome! Not just music and clothes! Think about what the ideals are of these people and convert that into video speak. I know you know better than anyone and you can teach us a lot.
