Photoshop Boot Camp - April Vacation Week!

This is an introductory course in Adobe Photoshop. The class will focus on grasping the basic tools in Photoshop while utilizing the ICA's galleries to explore the work of Shepard Fairey, relating the exhibit to the skills we learn. Students will become familiar with the basics in digital photography and creation tools, how to use electronic images in editing to improve photographs and create photomontages.

We will be visiting the gallery to study the work of Shepard Fairey.

The course begins with the basic techniques including using the toolbox, making and saving selections, retouching photos and applying color, before advancing to layers, masks and adjustments.

Open to high school students ages 14-18; no prior experience necessary.
