obey: first thought

i loved the Shepard Fairey exhibition. the mix of propaganda ad conspiracy in his work just... opened my eyes truly. i can proudly say this is work that inspires me. he sends a loud message and his art style is original and so brand new. i always see art as something that is just there, not bad but ok i guess. his artwork is the apotheosis of true art in my mind. blowing...mind.....thingy

truly a masterpiece....truly an artist

Hey Prince!
I am glad that you liked the Fairey show! It's important to find your inspirations and I know you are drawn to propagandas so this guy is right up your alley.
I was wondering though...what makes you feel that his style is so original and brand new? What are some specific examples of what he did that you had never seen before? How do you think his style is fresher than other exhibits you have seen here?
