To make a film that is entertaining and powerful, but still educational for teenagers.

Genre: Documentary

The purpose of this film is to educate teens about the disparities and inequality in healthcare that they might not even be aware of. This will be done by recording the work done at a local health clinic that is working towards eliminating healthcare’s racial inequality and raising awareness among communities in and around Boston. It is also important to document the process and progress of the project to educate other teens through the same process as the project participants.

Lighting, the filming process, sound recording and mixing

A producer/filmmaker who has done work that appeals to teens and familiar with producing documentaries.

Jeremy Maher is a senior at New England Academy in Beverly where he is and honors student. He loves music and filmmaking. He found a passion for film in sixth grade when his Aunt visited from California with a video camera. He joined some film camps over that summer where he discovered his favorite field of video production is the editing process. When he grows up, he wants to be a video editor. His favorite film is “American Beauty.”
