Main Character Bio.

Now in a calmed down period in his life, because he had been getting into a lot of trouble as a youth. Was a gang-banger and a crook, but now has a son so he's trying to make a better path for himself. Now has a legitimate job, and an apartment to himself, has tried to distance himself from the people that he only ran with because of how foul they were. Only held on to people that he felt he had a personal connection to, regardless of whether or not they are still living the life he has tried so hard to escape from. He began to see that the lifestyle was dehumanizing those around him, making their lives something to be thrown away at the pull of a trigger or the opening of a knife. The same way that slavery dehumanized his ancestors. He sees how the lifestyle he was living played right into the hands of the government and those that wanted to keep the lower classes down, just like slavery was a way to keep down black people. In a way the people involved in the game are enslaved to something else, the almighty dollar, selling drugs most likely imported by the government. So when he's told that the only way out of being kicked on to the street is to get money the fast way, the ski mask way, he's reluctant, and resents himself for going back to his old ways; but he feels he has no choice. He's the kind of person who if he commits to something he will see it through, even if he didn't want to do it in the first place. Once he's in it he's in it. Has a personal connection to T because they are cousins, and could trust each other no matter what, they had been in life or death situations together, no matter what differences they had about the lifestyle B used to live.
