Goals

Okay, I need you to list out at least 3 ideas. Include the general theme, topic or storyline, the genre (narrative, documentary, experimental, spoken word), and the a paragraph description of what you would like to explore in the piece. This can be a list, or questions that you want to answer. you need to put some good thought into this now. I need this list by 12/9m, and then you will be pitching your idea to the class on 12/17.

I'd like to hear about these ideas buzzing in your head. What about them makes you think you can't make film representations? Keep in mind that you can also explore mediums like audio or photography if you want, though it's always good to push yourself. Joe and I and also your classmates can help you brainstorm.

1. I wanted to do something about christmas. However, it seems a little too late for that. I still want to do a fictional narrative on what christmas is about, giving and being nice. How often do people do that when it's not christmas. From what I've a lot of people are stingy. We're nice to the homeless on holidays, what about everyday.

2. How about a story about someone who always being pushed around by different ideas; but; never expressing his own. At the end of the movie he learns to be himself. (don't ask me where I get my ideas) This would also be a fictional narrative as well. I have an idea in my head; but, we need fake blood. The movie isn't violent though.

3. My last Idea is a comedy. (I'm done being serious) But, it's still kind of dark. It's about a man that has to find money for a kidney transplant; his mother is dying. At the end he learns a valuable lessen about life and he gets a kidney for his mother.
