Film Ideas
First idea, A man wants a small electronic device, but no has the money. He gets the money, buys it and falls in love to a 80's hair band song, then gets home and sees it needs battery but he spent all his money.
Second idea, The sun sets on a lawless baron wasteland. This land is home to a man taking the law into his own hands. This land is one with microphones for guns, who will win in sound wars.
Third idea, William Thorsy, an experimental spaceman trapped on an alien planet. Finding friends in unlikely places, he struggles to escape.

Which of these ideas are you most excited about?
I like the second and third ideas... I can see you easily combining them into one idea. I like how there is a specific setting that can lend itself to lots o' possibilities and a good solid script.

Spencer,
I want to see you venture into something new for yourself as an artist. Your pieces deal with absurd characters in normal situations, or vice versa. While the concepts are very funny and the characters are engaging, the production quality is often very low. If you want to do another one of these, my goal for you would be to spend much more time on the production quality. But I also sensed after the last piece that you weren't satisfied with the final product. I think you mentioned that you thought it didn't have a point. I disagree. I liked the story. I just felt as if it could have benefited from more story boarding and artistic design.
At some point in Fast Forward I'd like to see you try something that takes you away from comedy narrative. are you open to that, or are you really drawn to one of these three ideas?
