DJ School 101 - VINYL - Saturday - Fall 2012

 

Beat matching, cutting, blending, mixing, and scratching. Learn DJ skills using vinyl record basics, and by the end of the course create sets and a mix of your own design. Open to high school students; no prior experience necessary. This class is a prerequisite for the Spring 2012 DJ School 201 workshop.

1 Session, Tuesdays, Oct 20, 12 – 4 pm
Fee: $60 nonmembers; $48 members

Open to high school students entering 9th - 11th grade.
No prior experience necessary. All equipment provided.
Enrollment limited to 12 students

Boston Public School Student Scholarships
A limited number of full scholarships are available for Boston Public School students for all ICA Teen New Media workshops. To apply for one of the scholarships, fill out the workshop application and be sure to check YES for the question "Are you a Boston Public School Student?". To receive the scholarship you will need to make an appointment to meet with the Teen New Media Program manager prior to the beginning of the workshop.
