Special guest DJ Die Young talked to the Saturday class about DJing as a profession, and how to make tracks flow together well in a mix.

Today’s activities:

• Watched DJ Craze mix tracks on YouTube
• Listened to Die Young mix techno on Scratch Live and explain his process, including how crowds respond to mixing techniques as they’re played
• The students applied Die Young’s mixing instructions to records, both analogously and digitally
