- I love that the voices are out of sync. It makes it really strange and really funny.
- I really like also that the high school reunion is just mentioned but not visually referred to. I think everything you wrote was really great. Have you ever read Edward Albee’s Zoo Story? I’m not exactly sure why yet, but this reminded me of it.
- I think after the first part of the animal people walking before the giraffe gets stuck to jian mei, that transition is a little awkward and could be smoothed out visually and audibly.
- Maybe you could through in more sound effects for when he is magnetized to the bench? I didn’t have any problem with reading the cell phone and I’m not sure how you would fix it unless maybe you just made that frame a little bigger or did something in color correction to make it sharper.
- Finally, I don’t mean for this to be something I think you should change but it was just something I was thinking about… the end when the giraffe is just sitting there thinking about his self realization, I think it would be interesting to see more cuts of the giraffe just sitting there. I like the one that you had and want more! Maybe try it out?
