Apply for a New Work Mentor Grant
The New Work Mentor Grant Program is an initiative of the Regional Youth Media Arts Education Consortium, the ICA Teen New Media Program, Fast Forward, and RAW Art Works. The goal of the program is to facilitate the creation of new work by providing interested students with the opportunity to receive funding and mentorship for production.
Students must write a grant proposal and find a professional mentor, who may be an artist on the selection committee or another professional in the community. Grant recipients will present their work to the mentor regularly throughout the production using a work-in-progress personal blog, and the mentor will provide feedback throughout the creative process. The resulting work will be screened at the ICA and RAW and featured online.
