Audio Ideas FF 2011

-Last year's English class free verse poem, spoken over recorded sound effects and ambience.

-Sounds of skateboarding, maybe a journey to a off limits place (over/under a fence), maybe spraypainting sounds, peaceful moment, skateboarding back. (some overlap of sounds perhaps, so less narrative)

-minimalist song (floor tom drum + vox only)

-audio-only immersion into different levels of nature (possible transition from society to nature)

-someone being eaten by bugs or something

An adaptation of the relationship between Aeneas and Dido in Vergil's Aeneid.

For my apple montage video project I plannes to have a series of short scenes depicting [Sonny] interacting with apples, mostly eating them. In editing the video, I may vary the speeds of the takes. For the audio tracks, I will first record [Sonny] saying a few things about apples, sort of mock interview, generally following the example of: "i like ____ing apples." I plan to place these tracks somewhat accordingly to the video, and I will repeat each seperately recorded chunk, rather than rerecording them or recording his audio as a whole, for a more automated feel.

WHAT MAY BE HEARD BY A COMATOSE PATIENT, IN THE EVENT THAT THEY COULD HEAR
-loud sound, crash or explosion, to start audio
-early on, inaudible clatter, noises, prattle, yelling, etc. to suggest an event in which one may have been injured
-middle/body, shouting of doctors, pieces of information shedding light on the previously suggested "scene"
-voices of loved ones or other patients, people noticing or standing by, doctor maybe suggesting the subject's status
