2010 Sound Ideas
I have 2 ideas:

I want to make one about water. Something that shows the sound and feel of water flowing downward. I do want to use surround sound in my piece to make the audience feel like they are in a waterfall or a stream flowing down. Down the audience starting from the top seats and going down to the bottom of the stage.

Instead of making a normal audio piece, I want to work on a theme for SOUNDWARS.
Blog on the first day of fast forward
Before I leave, I want to create a film that is better than the two films I have done before put together. I am pretty good at editing, but I want to get better at the actual filming part of making the films. My largest goal for this year is to make
SOUND WARS!!!
This idea has been buzzing in my head forever. I have other ideas too, but sound wars is better than all the rest.
Hungry
A young man is cursed to face a life or death decision and in the end must choose what he believes is the right way. He chooses death rather than the death of others.

Fast Forward '10 SPENCER'S MONOLOG ASIDE THING
Why?
Why is this happening to me?
It's bizarre.
Too crazy to happen in real life.
Cursed and forced to have too kill to live.
Like some sort of zombie.
How would that work.
Should I just be selfish and keep living, which means I need to kill from now on.
Or do I starve to death?
Hunting people down at night and digging through their flesh
Hearing their blood curdling creams.
Having to live off death.
But I know I will not be satisfied
and that I will continue to be hungry
if I live my whole life
I would have to kill millions of people
Their blood on my hands
FILM TREATMENT
Title: (I don't know yet)
This film is about a typical guy (played by Spencer Cheek) down on his luck who is attacked and finds that he must feast on human flesh. He is forced to live a double life. A seemingly normal person by day and a monster by night; he is forced to hunt down people. He feels disgusted by what he now has to do and he views it as a horrible curse.

I am sad that I couldn't post these ideas earlier, but I have them now.
- This is a story about a man who gets mysteriously turned into a robot that is only allowed to eat human babies. Its a story about his struggle, and how he must live with this new curse. In order to feed, he must be normal in the day, but a robot monster at night. Hunting for babies in the cover of the shadows. Eventually, the towns people decide he must die and kill him.

Audio Piece Proposal
I have had a little more than a week to think it over; I now have a clear understanding of what I want to do for this piece. This piece will show and tell my disgust and hatred of telemarketers. The setting isn't much, it's supposed to be me coming home and then listening to my answering machine. Turning it on, all I get is a telemarketer. The telemarketer (played by Spencer) is supposed to reflect my disappointment and depression.
As a list of sounds I want to get:
-my answering machine
-my door
-my mother yelling
-my sigh
-other sounds around my home
Jian Mei's sound ideas
I want to make a surround sound piece about my hate of telemarketers and unimportant messages. It gets on my nerves. I come home every night, and the first thing I do is listen to the never ending parade of messages that's don't apply to me or my family. With the piece, I want to show how I feel and how the telemarketer must feel when he must call. Doing something he knows everyone hates for a living.
Fueled by medicine with a stuffy nose (an interview)

The story is about a guy who has a terrible life and is depressed. He's depressed because due to the fact that his life has been going down the drain recently. When he shows signs of getting better, his mother falls ill. His mother, being a single parent, is now dying and is in need of a kidney. Being more depressed than ever, he waits at the hospital. With his mother's advice he finds himself again. And in the end his mother is saved and all is well.
Goals
I already have some experience in editing video. But, I want to get even better. I want to be the best I can be with editing. As for my artistic goal. I want to make something deep. I don't know what it is yet, but I have time to think. (I guess)
I always have ideas buzzing in my head. But, none of them can me made into a film. (I think) It might be fun to do something about christmas.
