Reaction to Shepard's Work
I think his work is amazing. This is really the first time I've spent a while looking at his work and it's the first time I've connected a name to it also. Personally, I think that the mixture of meaning behind the work and extremely strong aesthetics make his work really appealing to me. I would say that I'm more struck by the artistic qualities of his work before the meaning behind them, but I appreciate that he makes work about important issues such as war and peace.
Untitled Fast Forward Film Project 2 SCHEDULE
At the moment my schedule looks like:
Late February and as much of March: rehearsals with actors, lock script, finalize shooting dates and details
April 6/13: Shooting most of day
April 20: Shooting most of day, at the moment, there is an even that I think starts at 5:00 pm. If we get to the ICA early on, 7 or 8, then we can shoot for a good chunk of time.
April 21-28: EDIT, all day every day as much as possible
NEW ENDING for Fast Forward Script (The Woman and the Glass of Lemonade W.T.)
EXT. SIDEWALK - NIGHT
Zach is walking down the sidewalk and the sky is dark. He continues to walk and then pauses as he comes across an ally. A green coat can be seen at the far end.
Curious, he begins to walk slowly down the ally.
As he gets closer he realizes that it is the woman. He ducks and gets against the wall. The woman is bent over, head in the front window of a parked car. Zach realizes that she is a prostitute.
He begins to run up to her.
She sees him, her face grows solemn and she slowly backs away.

FADE IN:
INT. RESTAURANT - DAY
(In one continuous shot) ZACH BAKER stands holding a phone to his ear. He’s five foot seven and has short brown hair. He has an innocent face, he’s wearing an apron and he looks a little stressed out. A cash register is to the left of him, people sit at tables in the distance.
ZACH
(flustered, not in control)
Yeah I know Mom, it’s all under control... I’m fine, you’re stressing me out okay. I know what I’m doing.
A woman sitting a table next to him looks up briefly.
ZACH (CONT’D)

Yeah I know Mom, I got it all under control... no I’m fine, you’re just stressing me out okay. I know how to do this job, it will be easy, I just gotta stay cool and the money will come, don’t worry.
First Blog Post
At the moment, I've written a script for the piece I will be making this year. Though, I am still working out whether or not I will use the script, or make major modifications to it. At the moment, the script is about a teen who works at a restaurant and meets a woman who comes by and this starts a story between them.

One day during Saturday detention, a student named Jack begins to daydream, leading to comical consequences.
